HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING!
- 40 YEARS SINCE STONEWALL! The Heritage of Pride March in New York City is Sunday, June 28th. Join the OASIS and Integrity New York for a Street Eucharist, then march down to the Village.

- Read Elizabeth Kaeton's blog about our 20th anniversary service here.
- New Jersey has recognized and performed civil unions between same-sex couples since February, 2007. However, Civil Unions Won't Provide All the Benefits Of Marriage. A year later, a special Task Force issues an interim report on civil unions and the Diocese of Newark. Suggested rites for Civil Unions in English and Spanish are available here.
THE OASIS is a justice ministry
of the Episcopal Diocese of Newark with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender,
Intersex and Straight persons, their families and friends, regardless
of age, race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, class, ability, economic
or educational status.
THE OASIS is a ministry of cultural
and racial diversity with all who experience prejudice and oppression
because of their sexual orientation or expression.
THE OASIS offers reconciliation,
education, liberation and hope to all who seek sanctuary, empowerment,
justice and peace.
We are:
- Founded on our Baptismal Covenant
- Claiming the Gospel promise of liberation
- In solidarity with the prophetic witness of scripture
- Embodied in justice, hospitality and love
